It is time to update. Real life has been vaguely hectic, and I didn’t have the energy to write anything thoughtful or interesting, but now that people are actually asking me for an update, I suppose I must.
I was in Mumbai last weekend and met People I Like, Adi, and called other people who I didn’t have time to see. Did you know that calling someone you haven’t talked to for months and hearing them sound genuinely thrilled to hear you is the best thing in the world? If the city wasn't so strengthsappingly humid I would like it a lot better.
I really haven’t been in the mood for serious updates. Luckily, I have been tagged by Megha to do this meme. So here goes.
I am thinking about ..
..looking for one of my library books. I should go to the library today
I said ..…
”there’s something in the woodshed”
I want to ..
I wish ..
..yellow clothes didn’t make my skin look vaguely green.
I miss ..
I hear ..
I don’t. My computer speakers are out and I have been reduced to digging through piles of old CDs.
I wonder ..
How many people who read this blog secretly think I’m young and silly
I regret ..
I am ..
…now a size XL, according to most shop attendants.
I dance ..
…only when placed forcibly on a bed of burning coals.
I sing ..
songs by The Smiths, operatically. Thanks to Isheeta. I am awful.
I cry ..
..at movies that I later mock.
I am not always ..
I make with my hands ..
I write ..
but everyone wishes I hadn’t.
I confuse ..
I need ..
I should try..
..on second thoughts, no. I shouldn’t.
I finish ..
races without being particularly tired, since I didn’t put much effort into it anyway.
I must now tag people. Supriya, Isheeta, Adi, and anyone else who wants to.
