I started this blog in 2004 for no other reason than that I had a blogger account and thought I might as well use it. It's never had a particular purpose, and the things I blog about have changed quite a bit over the years. Right now it's mainly for children's books, other books, feminism, frivolous posts about attractive sportsmen, and generally stuff that I find interesting or amusing and unselfishly wish to share with the world.


The "bluelullaby" thing is simultaneously a nod to Jeff Noon and a bit of self-deprecation.


My book-related posts are supposed to eventually find their way here, but I often forget. I'm a member of the (mostly inactive, but I do plan to remedy this at some point) Sthreeling and De Ludo Globi blogs. I guestblogged for a week on Feministe in summer 2007. I link to other people's writing on Blogbharti. I also have a fortnightly column with The New Indian Express.
